The Withered Animatronics (1987)
The Withereds are the original animatronic models from the first Freddy’s pizzeria, weathered by age and dismantling. These older models were kept in parts & services, to be used for spare parts for the newer line of robots. However, the spirits of the original missing children still haunt these machines, just waiting for the right moment to strike.
The Withereds are large, bulky animatronics. What meager safeties they may have had installed have long been disabled, leaving these robots as formidable foes for an unsuspecting nightguard. Being the original models of Freddy and the gang, they are equipped with unregulated, outdated, and highly overpowered machinery. Actuators with enough force to break bone, and that’s before you count the paranormal forces at play.
The only saving grace to any potential nightguard is that these animatronics are old and run-down, and in turn, somewhat sluggish. What they lack in agility, however, they make up for in sheer strength. Imposing, disfigured, and wildly powerful, the Withered animatronics are dangerous enemies and must be managed with great care.
Withered Freddy
The leader of the band, Withered Freddy is just about as large, imposing, and dangerous as his namesake animal. He’s mostly intact, but still clearly damaged and weathered. He’s the slowest of the four, but the strongest by far. If he catches you, there is no chance of breaking free of his grasp. Do not let him catch you off guard.
Withered Bonnie
The striking, disfigured second-in-command, Withered Bonnie is a force to be reckoned with. His most notable trait is his missing face, with an absent left arm and various tears in his suit as well. Withered Bonnie’s lack of eyes renders him entirely blind. This obviously means that he can’t see you, but it also means that he won’t be fooled by the Freddy mask. Your only hope is to stay quiet and keep him distracted.
Withered Chica
This mangled and misshapen member of the band is another dangerous threat from parts & service. Her hands have been ripped off, and her jaw is broken, dangling loosely by nothing but a few wires. Withered Chica can’t do much in the way of attacking you herself, but she is incredibly effective at cornering you while one of the other three comes to finish you off. With an imposing stature and outstretched arms, Chica will trap you if you let her.
Withered Foxy
The most vicious of the band, Withered Foxy is an incredibly dangerous animatronic. He is the quickest of the four, and capable of ripping a person to shreds with his two rows of sharp teeth and curved hook. Withered Foxy can pounce on you from afar, and considering how much he weighs alone, such an occurrence would spell certain death. The only way to deter Withered Foxy is to shine light in his eyes. This will disorient him by causing a temporary system reset, buying you valuable time, time you will probably spend dealing with the other animatronics.
